But Before I Get Into That…

I Just Want To Say That I’m Very Happy With How The Past 7 Weeks Went Down!!!

For Many Reasons…

To Be Completely Honest With You… The Past 7 Weeks Have Been Kinda “Hit Or Miss” With The Class Attendance…

Now… Before You Ask Yourself… “Is He Talking About Me?!?!”

Let Me Just Say That There Were/Are SO Many Of You Who Have Been Very Consistent With Your Training… And It Shows…

I’ll Just Use 2 Movements As An Example…

1st Movement… The Big One… OverHead Squats…

That 1st Monday… We Literally Spent The Entire Class Warming Up To A “Safe” OverHead Squat Weight For 1 Freakin’ Round Of “Nancy”… Now… Most Of You Can Just Load That Weight Up & Rock & Roll!!!

2nd Movment(s)… Behind The Neck Presses… Though I Still Get My Ab Work Out For The Day While I Watch You Ladies & Gents Bring That BarBell Back Down To Your Back… All Of You Have… If Anything… Just Gotten More Comfortable & Confident From Lifting From Behind The Neck… Heck… Some Of You Prefer It!!!

And Those Are Just 2 Movements… All The Other Movements We Perform Week After Week… You Ladies & Gents Are Killin’ It!!!

So That Makes Me Happy…

Now… What Seems Like What Shouldn’t Make Me Happy…

Those Whose Attendance Has Been A Little Sketchy… I’m Not Gonna Beat A Dead Horse… You Know Who You Are… You Know You Need To Get In The Station More… Let’s Just Leave It At That… At Least On The Blog…

BUT… What Does Make Me Happy… When You Do Come In… You Don’t Try To Be “SuperMan/Woman” & Jump In With The Percentages That All Our Consistent Athletes Are Using… You Know Damn Well That If You Were Struggling During Week 1… There’s No Reason You Should Be Going Heavier When You Show Up On Week 3/4/5/Etc… You Came In… Let Me Know What You Lifted The Last Time You Were Here… By The Way… I Already Know… I Just Want To Make Sure You Care As Well… And Then From There… We “Played” Around With The Weights To See If You Were Able To Go Up Slightly Or Maybe Just Stick With The Same Weight… Or… Maybe Even Do Down In Weight…

So Yes… That Makes Me Happy As Well…

I’m Pretty Sure That My Last 4 Snatch PRs Have Been Literally Within Mins Of The 12:15PM Session Start Time!!! And If You’re A 12:15PM Usual… You Know What I’m Talking About… You’ll Normally Find Me In My Back Corner Of The Rig… Performing Some Kind Of Olympic/Power Lift…Then I Start To Slow My Reps Down… Then I Start Pacing Around… Then… BOOM!!! Did I Plan It?!?! Hell No… I Was Just Working On My Form & Technique… And On That Given Day… I Was Feelin’ It!!!

Now… To Flip The Script… If You Do PR… CELEBRATE IT!!!

Ring That Freakin’ PR Bell!!! High Five & Hug Everyone!!! Brag About It On Social Media!!! On That Day… At That Moment… You Were Feeling It & Everything Clicked!!!

Feel Good/Great About It… But Also Know… Your Training Just Got Harder!!!

And That’s A Good “Problem” To Have!!!

So Rest Up & Get Ready For Some Heavy Lifting This Week…

One Bad Ass Momma… Period!!! Julie Comes To RainCross From The Ranch… And Couldn’t Be Happier To Have Her!!!
