From The 5AM Early Bird Session Until The 1830 Last Call Session… Friday Was Intense!!!

A Lot… I’d Say 99% Of You Came In Scared Outta Your Mind… With Good Reason…

Friday By Far… The Most/Heaviest Snatches That I Have Ever Programmed In A Single MetCon… For Me… The ADV Weight Was 80% Of My 1 Rep Max Snatch… And I Had To Do That 40 Times!!! I Took Me Awhile To Warm Up To The ADV Weight… But I Made A Choice Before Performing That WOD… I WAS GOING TO DO IT… PERIOD!!! I Know To Some This Might Come Off Arrogant… But I Didn’t Care About The Box Jumps Or Toes To Bar… To Me… It Was Just Busy Work… And I Knew The Row Had To Be Not A Full On Sprint… But… Pretty Damn Hard & Fast… It Was Basically Going To Be A “Snatch” Session… And It Turned Out To Be A Great One!!! 40/40 Snatches… No Misses!!!

Whether I Coached You Through Making Your Intended Snatch Weight Feel More Comfortable & You Feel More Confident… Or Whether I Talked You Into Going Heavier Than You Planned… You’re Welcome!!! Everyone Performed Amazing!!! Maybe A Few Missed Snatches Here & There… Especially In The Beginning… But I Didn’t Let Anybody Go Down In Weight… A Few Misses Here & There Was/Is Expected… But Once You Knocked Off The Cobb Webs… BOOM!!!

And Even If You Didn’t Finish The Entire WOD… Think About How Much Freakin’ Work You Did!!!

If You Made It To The Rower… You Knocked Out 120 Box Jumps… 100 Toes To Bar… AND… 40 Freakin’ Snatches!!!

If You Finished The 8 Snatches In Round 5… You Knocked Out 40 Freakin’ Snatches!!!
